By downloading, installing, or using myCrescent ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
myCrescent is a personal health tracking application designed to help individuals living with sickle cell disease record and monitor their health data, including blood test results, medication, appointments, and symptoms. The App is intended for personal, non-commercial use only.
myCrescent is a personal health journal tool and is not a medical device. The App does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. The information and outputs displayed in the App are for personal tracking and informational purposes only. You must always consult a qualified healthcare professional — such as your haematologist, GP, or specialist nurse — before making any decisions about your medical care, medications, or treatment.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter into the App. myCrescent does not verify, validate, or review any health data you record. You can export your data at any time using the in-app data export feature.
An account is required to use myCrescent. You can sign in with Google or email and password. Your health data is stored on your device and securely synced to the cloud (Supabase) so you never lose it. Cloud data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest, and only accessible to you via row-level security. You can export all your data at any time.
All content, design, code, and branding within myCrescent — including the myCrescent name, logo, and interface — are the intellectual property of Rayscent Ltd and are protected by copyright. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the App without prior written permission.
We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue any feature of the App at any time without notice. We will aim to maintain backward compatibility where possible and will notify users of significant changes through app updates.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rayscent Ltd and its directors, employees and contractors shall not be liable for any loss, harm, or damage — direct or indirect — arising from your use of the App or reliance on information displayed within it. This includes, without limitation, any harm arising from delayed, incorrect, or missed health data.
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
